“Public Notice for the submission of Intervention Proposals for the restoration and enhancement of historic parks and gardens, financed under the PNRR, (M1C3), Investment 2.3 “ Programmes to Enhance the Identity of Places : Historic Parks and Gardens”, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU and managed by the Ministry of Culture”.
The project envisages the regeneration and redevelopment of the historical park; strengthening the identity of the area, improving the quality of the landscape, the quality of life and the psychophysical wellbeing of the citizens, and the creation of a new cultural and tourist hub and mode of enjoyment. In line with the NRRP directives, through targeted interventions, all those functions that have direct and positive environmental effects have been developed, such as the regulation of the microclimate and the protection of biodiversity, all while respecting the value of the landscape and the existing ecological cycles. Educational activities have also been planned with the aim of raising awareness of the environment and landscape among the new generations, to ensure that the historical park is a resource in terms of scientific, technical, botanical and environmental knowledge.
